Voided Pixel Studios was started in 2013 releasing free to play games exclusively on the Android market and published their first PC game The Superfluous in 2016. In 2018 they will release a card game called LOGICAL. Voided Pixel Studios was created by Adam Truncale.
HISTORY
Voided Pixel Studios was created by Adam Truncale (who teaches computer science at the high school level) after several of his students asked him how they would create and publish a mobile game. Through out that school year Adam and his students designed a game and published in on the Google Play store. That game was Tappy Flap Family. Ever since then Adam has created and published many more mobile games.
With many years of development, and a few more people working for Voided Pixel Studios, they are finally ready to move into the PC game market. Their first game The Superfluous is now available on STEAM.
In 2018 Voided Pixel Studios is working on a sequel to The Superfluous while concurrently finishing up a card game called Logical.
In 2019 VPS published another card game called Dicey Crafting while continuing development of a project code named Sand (the sequel to The Superfluous)
In 2020 VPS is in full swing developing Sand: A Superfluous Game. It is currently in early Alpha and free to download.

I've been programming games since I was about 10. Working on my family's Apple II gs I began to see games more as a fun creative process then just a way to waste my Saturdays. I loved playing games and thinking of ways I could have done it better or changed this UI or that mechanic to make a game I would enjoy more. Today I teach computer programming to high school students many of which have similar experiences like myself (XBox, PS2 and Game Cube instead of my Apple II). Programming, teaching and learning have always been a passion of mine and a result of that is games like this. Many times my games are a result of conversations I've had with my students.
